Anderson SC Real Estate Activity

Single Family home sales for the first 5 months of 2008 were down 17% but the average sales price is up 16%. Homes here are still selling for 93% to 97% of asking price.
     
According to the Western Upstate Association of Realtors, through May 30th, there have been 692 homes sold for an average price of $166,399 and the average days on market stood at 123 days. This compares to the same time period in 2007 when there were 835 homes sold for an average price of $154,943 and 87 days on market.
  
There are currently 1785 active single family homes for sale in our ML S with 453 of these being brand new/never lived in homes. These new homes represent an opportunity for buyers that are ready to buy now as the builders are all offering aggressive incentives. If you are in the market, please let me know.
